Pediatric medicine is one of the most important aspects of healthcare. And one pediatric doctor has spent decades helping children from the age of infancy to near-adulthood deal with a variety of issues and illnesses. That doctor, Dr. Saad Saad, has been one of the world’s innovators when it comes to pediatric care.
Dr. Saad Saad was the Co-Medical Director for the Hovnanian Children Hospital. Dr. Saad Saad had been active for several decades performing thousands of medical procedures to children of all ages. His career included eight medical missions to Jerusalem. The medical missions provided important medical procedures to poor children in the area.
In a recent interview, Dr. Saad Saad revealed much about himself and his career in Pediatric medicine. First of all, Dr. Saad Saad revealed that being a doctor was not his first choice of profession. Originally, he wanted to be an engineer. However, becoming an engineer required working outdoors. And, at the time, Dr. Saad Saad was living in Kuwait where the outdoor temperature reached over 110 during the summer. After that, Dr. Saad Saad decided that he wanted a profession which required indoor work.
When asked how he brings his ideas to life, Dr. Saad Saad mentions that research plays an important role. And when asked about what new innovations make him excited about the future of medicine, he mentioned the work being down on Genetics to help detect, treat and prevent disease.
Later in the interview, Dr. Saad Saad was asked about what habits helped him stay productive. The doctor mentioned that being organized plays an important role in getting things done more efficiently. And when asked what habits helped him in preparing for surgery, Dr. Saad Saad mentioned that reviewing the patient’s medical record as well as reviewing the steps of the procedure were critical.
Dr. Saad Saad is a surgeon practicing in Eatontown, New Jersey. Educated at Cairo University School of Medicine, Dr. Saad Saad has been in practice, in the United States, for over 20 years. Today, Dr. Saad Saad is a practicing surgeon at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch Campus as well as the Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Dr. Saad Saad’s certifications include being Certified in Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Saad Saad’s New Jersey State Medical License is also active through the year 2019.
